Rosacea, Adult Acne and Rosacea
Rosacea is an
inflammatory condition of the skin that causes redness. A person will
often look as though they are blushing. The cheeks become flush and
rosy red.
Rosacea may also be accompanied by acne and is commonly called Adult Acne. Rosecea
usually develops between the ages of 30 and 40. It is more prominent in
women who are fair skinned and may be of Celtic descent. Scientist have
not found a cause for Rosacea. It does seem to run in families. Many factors can contribute to Rosacea. Stress, food allergies, skin irritants and the sun can all trigger an outbreak of Rosacea.
Treatments
Organic Skincare is a good treatment option for those with Rosacea. Chemicals and skin irritants can often trigger an outbreak. Antibacterials such as Willowbark or Salicylic Acid
help calm the skin and reduce redness. Vitamin A, B Complex, Vitamin E,
Zinc, Omega 3 and 6, Chamomile and Vitamin C all seem to help Rosacea.
Always wear sunscreen.
